Steelwork & Fabrication
Pipework
We work with a wide range of fabricated items, including structural steelwork, frames, skids, tanks, vessels and fabricated components.

The size and type of work can vary from project to project. If you're unsure whether your work can be accommodated at our facility, send us the details and we'll be happy to take a look.
We handle industrial and process pipework, preparing and coating components to the required specification.

Whether it's individual pipe sections, larger fabricated pipework or associated steelwork, we can carry out the preparation and coating at our facility before the finished work is collected or returned to site.
Protective Coating Systems
Different applications require different levels of protection. We apply coating systems selected for the environment and service conditions the finished steelwork will be exposed to.

Our experience includes systems involving zinc-rich primers, zinc phosphate primers, epoxies, polyurethanes and other protective coatings from leading manufacturers.

If you already have a coating specification, we can price directly from it. If you're unsure what system is required, we can discuss the requirements with you before work begins.
We apply industrial paint systems to structural steelwork, pipework, tanks, fabricated components and other industrial items.

We can work from your existing paint specification, coating schedule or manufacturer requirements, applying the agreed system in our controlled workshop environment.

From primers and intermediate coats through to final finishes, the system is applied to the required specification and inspected as necessary throughout the process.
Industrial Painting
Grit, Shot & Sand Blasting
Surface preparation is an important part of any coating system. Our blasting facilities allow us to remove rust, mill scale, existing coatings and other contaminants before the application of the specified coating system.

We carry out grit, shot and sand blasting, working to the required preparation standard and surface profile for the coating being applied.
Wrapping Systems
We also provide wrapping systems for pipework where additional protection against corrosion, moisture or mechanical damage is required.

These systems can be used alongside other protective measures and are suitable for a range of industrial and infrastructure applications.
Tank & Pipe Linings
We carry out coating and lining work on tanks and pipework where internal or external protection is required.

The coating system depends on what the equipment will be used for and the environment it will operate in, so we work from the required specification and manufacturer recommendations to make sure the correct system is applied.
Site Work
Not every project can be brought to our facility. Where steelwork, pipework or other components have already been installed, are too large to transport, or need work carried out in their existing location, we can also provide suitable services on site.

Our site work can include preparation, coating repairs, touch-ups and other coating requirements depending on the project. If you have work that cannot realistically be transported to our Ellesmere Port facility, send us the details and we can assess the requirements and see how we can help.
Anti-Slip Coatings
Anti-slip coatings can be applied to areas such as walkways, platforms, stairs and other steel access areas where additional grip is required.

We can apply the specified anti-slip system to prepared steelwork and fabricated components at our facility.
Galvanised Duplex Systems
Galvanised steel can be painted to provide an additional level of protection and a different finished appearance.

We don't carry out the galvanising itself, but we regularly receive galvanised components at our facility for preparation and the application of compatible coating systems.
