D&P Coatings Limited is an industrial blasting and protective coating contractor based in Ellesmere Port. We work with fabricators, engineering companies, manufacturers and contractors across the UK, providing surface preparation and coating services for steelwork, pipework, tanks and fabricated components.

Although we're based in the North West, our work comes from much further afield. Customers can send their work directly to our facility, where we can carry out the required preparation and coating before the finished items are collected or returned.
A straightforward approach to industrial coatings
We're a practical, hands-on business. We understand that blasting and painting is often one part of a much bigger project, and that keeping things moving matters.
A lot of our work comes through relationships with fabricators and engineering companies who need a reliable coating contractor they can send work to when their own capacity is full or they don't have the facilities in-house.
For us, that means being easy to deal with, giving realistic lead times and keeping communication clear. If we can help with something, we'll say so. If there's a problem with a job, we'll speak to you about it rather than leaving you guessing.
From the first enquiry through to the finished job, we try to keep the process straightforward.

We can price work from drawings, quantities and coating specifications, and we're happy to discuss a job before you send anything over if you're unsure about the requirements. Once the work arrives with us, our team takes care of the preparation, coating and inspection before the finished items are ready for collection or delivery.

We also understand that specifications can change, deadlines move and jobs don't always go exactly to plan. Good communication makes a big difference, so we keep customers updated throughout the process.

Our team has experience working with a wide range of industrial coating systems and specifications. We work closely with leading coating manufacturers and have an ICorr Level 2 Protective Coatings Inspector on site to support inspection and quality control.
We're accredited to ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001, covering quality management, environmental management and occupational health and safety.

D&P Coatings was established
With dedicated blasting areas, multiple coating workshops, heated areas for controlled curing and large laydown and handling spaces, we can take work through the different stages without having to move it between different sites.
Our location also gives us excellent motorway access, making it straightforward for customers to arrange deliveries and collections from across the North West and further afield.
